Make it NLog compatible

description

Hi,

This looks great and is something I was thinking of building myself at one time or another! A quick question - do you think it will be able to receive log events from NLog (http://www.nlog-project.org/) ?

Thank in advance

Log2console is already NLog compatible using the UdpReceiver.

Not sure if this is still valid, but just tried it on my machine and it worked fine without any problems. Much better than that crap java offering chainsaw!! :)

The Nlog target I used was: <target name="chainsaw" xsi:type="Chainsaw" address="udp://localhost:7071" />

I use Log2Console as well with NLog. So this issue seams to be closed.

How do I get exception information in log2console? Tried this without luck:

<target name="network" xsi:type="Chainsaw" address="udp://host:port" layout="${longdate} ${message} ${exception:format=tostring}" >

This is what worked for me:
<target name="udp" xsi:type="NLogViewer" address="udp4://localhost:7071" />

Pay attention for both the type (NLogViewer) and udp4 protocol.

I was using Log21Console version 1.5.1110.1
